About Rumpus Arcade
Rumpus Arcade Pty Ltd sells pinball tables and upright cabinets, restored, from an office in Melbourne's CBD. The name is the Australian word for the room at the back of the house where the noisy hobbies end up.
Why listings start with floor space
Old machines are bigger than they look in photos. A full pinball table is about a metre and a half long, and its backbox pushes the height towards two metres. Plenty of people find that out in the hallway.
So each listing here leads with length, width, height, weight and the clear floor you need around it. The shop page sorts machines into box rooms, spare bedrooms and games rooms for the same reason.
What is on sale
Pinball tables, upright cabinets and one round party table, all with artwork that follows well-known casino games and a few classic table games. Game names are used only to say which artwork a machine carries. We are not connected to the developers.
What is not
Nothing here takes a bet. No machine accepts money, pays out or gives prizes, and scores are points on a display. Because the artwork looks like casino play, the shop is limited to buyers aged 19 and over who want a machine as a collector's piece.
